Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi is an Egyptian politician and retired military officer who has been serving as the 6th president of Egypt since 2014.

Led a military coup overthrowing Morsi after mass protests. Troops dispersed two pro-Morsi protest camps in August, killing over 800 people in a single day.
Won the presidential election with 96.1% of the vote. Turnout was 47%.
